CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

REFORMER1

This class is performed on the reformer beds.  Completing the basic system of exercises.

Each student will be working the six principles of pilates and will be required to change their own springs and set up their own equipment.  This class offers a well rounded workout at the basic level.

TOWER1

This mat/tower class uses the basic pilates exercise vocabulary.  A well rounded workout to train co-ordination, centering,breath, control and concentration.  Students will learn new exercises, add resistance with springs and become better at performing pilates flow.

TOWER2

This mat/tower class is for students who are experienced and strong in there pilates, who have a greater understanding of spinal articulation, pelvic stability and shoulder stabilisation and overall flow.  This class explores a more intermediate/advanced level at a quicker tempo.

Sign up class procedure:

  • all classes are limited to 3 students
  • students must pre book and pay(please call for new package details)
  • there will be no class if no one signs up
  • walk in students can only participate if there is space available
  • groups of 3 can be accommodated to desired time slots
  • pilates exercises are sequenced in a way that warms up the muscles and minimizes the risk of injury, accordingly students arriving more than 5 minutes late will not be admitted once class begins.
  • socks must be worn for hygiene purposes
